HomeMy WebLinkAboutTown of Enfield Planning Board Minutes 10042023 Final 1 Town of Enfield Planning Board MeeƟng Wednesday, October 4, 2023 7 PM In-Person and Via the Zoom meeƟng plaƞorm Present: Chairperson Walker; Planning Board Members; Ann Chaffee, Michael Carpenter; Planning Board Alternate Aaron Abb (7:10 PM). Absent: Planning Board Members; Henry Hansteen, Rich Teeter. Excused: Planning Board Alternate Greg Hutnik. Call to Order: Chairperson Walker called the meeƟng to order at 7:08 PM Minutes: Approval of September 6, 2023 minutes. Carpenter moved and Chaffee seconded. No Discussion. VOTE: Walker, Aye; Chaffee, Aye; Carpenter, Aye; Carried. Subdivision Review, 3-lot subdivision, Iradell Road, Tax Parcel 3.-3-4.22 The applicant was present and had provided a preliminary subdivision Plat. The applicant was noƟfied that a Public Hearing will be needed, and the full applicaƟon and SEQR have been submiƩed. The Public Hearing will be planned for the November 1, 2023 Planning Board MeeƟng. Chairman Walker noted that the plat does not show the full parcel, the back 25 acres are missing, however, the planning board can waive the requirement if needed. Chairman Walker asked that a new plat be submiƩed with the whole lot size shown. Chairman Walker shared his screen which showed the property map. Sketch plan review, 3-lot subdivision request - 423 Enfield Center Road West, Tax Parcel 12.-1-3.2 The applicants Lisa and Bill Munser were present. A survey had been completed. They plan on removing the current debilitated mobile homes and building a new home. The Applicant had provided the plat as well as the SEQR form. The lot will be split into three parcels. Public Hearing at the next board meeƟng. A final plat map will need to be submiƩed at the next meeƟng. Two Cornell students from Project Design aƩended the meeƟng. They are working with the Enfield Parks commiƩee on Designing a Town Park and wanted to aƩend this meeƟng to learn more about planning in Enfield. Dan explained that we had two simple 3-lot subdivision requests this evening and explained the Planning Board's approval process. A brief discussion followed. The Board will conƟnue its review of the Town of Enfield’s site plan review law. Subdivision ApplicaƟon development: Chairperson Walker shared a hard copy of Newfield’s Subdivision applicaƟon to assist in creaƟng an applicaƟon for the Town of Enfield. Chairperson Walker would like the Planning Board Members to look over the provided materials and be prepared to offer suggesƟons at the next Planning Board MeeƟng.
