APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Perko made a motion to approve the minutes of the December 12,
1994 meeting. Seconded by Commissioner Bantuvanis. Motion carried 2-0.
NEW BUSINESS
NEW POSITION DUTIES STATEMENT: YOUTH BUREAU - YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
LEADER
Activities Center Coordinator Marcia Fort presented a New Position Duties
Statement to classify a Youth Development Program Leader position in the
Outreach Program. Ms. Fort explained that the Outreach Program provides
intensive case management services for older teens and young adults.
Commissioner Perko made a motion to classify the position as Youth
Development Program Leader. Seconded by Commissioner Bantuvanis. Motion
carried 2-0.
NEW POSITION DUTIES STATEMENT/ADOPTION OF JOB DESCRIPTION: BUILDING
DEPARTMENT - COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER (CODE ENFORCEMENT)
The Commission reviewed and discussed a New Position Duties Statement from
the Building Department for a newly authorized part-time position of
Community Service Officer (Code Enforcement) and a proposed job description.
Commissioner Bantuvanis made a motion to classify the position as Community
Service Officer (Code Enforcement) and to adopt the proposed job description.
Seconded by Commissioner Perko. Motion carried 2-0.
OLD BUSINESS
RECLASSIFICATION REQUEST/ADOPTION OF JOB DESCRIPTION: PLANNING DEPARTMENT -
PLANNING SYSTEMS MANAGER
The Commission reviewed a Reclassification Request and a proposed job
description for the position of Planning Systems Manager. Personnel
Administrator Saul stated that this position has been approved in the 1995
budget. Commissioner Perko made a motion to reclassify the Planner position
in the Planning Department to Planning Systems Manager and to adopt the job
description as proposed. Seconded by Commissioner Bantuvanis. Motion
carried 2-0.
CONTINUING BUSINESS
Commissioner Bantuvanis made a motion to go into Executive Session to discuss
civil service examination matters. Seconded by Commissioner Perko. Motion
carried 2-0. Following executive session, the Commission took the following
actions.
