SPECIAL MEETING
AUGUST 7 , 1989
Present : Commissioner Bantuvanis , Commissioner Cooper , Commissioner
Perko , Valerie Walker (Personnel Administrator )
Commissioner Bantuvanis called the meeting to order at 9 : 03 am.
RECLASSIFICATION REQUESTS - ITHACA CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Commission reviewed and discussed two reclassification requests
from the Ithaca City School District . One requested the
reclassification of a Teacher Aide position in the Ithaca High School
Guidance Department to that of Typist ; the other requested the
reclassification of a Stenographer position in the Ithaca High School
Administration Department to that of Senior Stenographer . After
reviewing the duties of the positions , Commissioner Cooper made a
motion to reclassify the positions as requested . Seconded by
Commissioner Perko . Motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Commissioner Bantuvanis made a motion to go into Executive Session to
discuss civil service examination matters . Seconded by Commissioner
Cooper . After Executive Session, the Commission took the follow;.ng
action:
ESTABLISHMENT OF ELIGIBLE LIST
Commissioner Cooper made a motion to establish the Deputy Police Chief
Eligible List #66 - 526 for a period of one year . Seconded by
Commissioner Perko . Motion carried.
With no fu er business , -phe meeting was djourned at 9 : 22 am.
