OFFICIAL NOTICE OF MEETING
A Special meeting of Common Council and the Board of Public Works will be held on
Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in Common Council Chambers, City Hall, 108 East
Green Street, Ithaca. Your attendance is requested

1. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
2. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS:
2.1 Petitions And Hearings Of Persons Before Council And The Board Of
Public Works:
The public will be given an opportunity to comment/respond to the following
question: “Should the City of Ithaca allow installation of nets by Cornell University
as a suicide means restriction under its 3 identified bridges?" (Stewart Avenue
at Fall Creek, Stewart Avenue at Cascadilla Creek, and Thurston Avenue bridge
at Fall Creek)
(The public will have the usual 3 minutes to address Common Council and the
Board of Public Works - some questions may be answered from the floor.)
