LOCAL LAW NO. _____ OF 2023
AMENDING ZONING MAP TO RECLASSIFY 35 PARCELS FROM PRESENT
ZONING CLASSIFICATION TO PLANNED COMMERCIAL BUSINESS B-3
DISTRICT
Section 1. The Town of Cortlandville is proposing a zone change for Route 13 in the
Town of Cortlandville to B-3, Planned Commercial Business District to allow for growth
in the Town and make it more attractive for business to flourish in that area.
Section 2. The zoning change to B-3 will apply to the properties located between Bennie
Road and Gracie Road on Route 13, to include the following parcels.

Section 3. The Town Board designates itself as lead agency pursuant to Article 8 (State
Environmental Quality Review Act) of the Environmental Conservation Law.
Section 4. Pursuant to New York State General Municipal Law §239,the proposed
zoning change shall be referred to the Cortland County Planning Department.
Section 5. This Local Law shall become effective when filed with the Secretary of State
of the State of New York, as required by law.
