GENERAL BUSINESS
Linda Hirvonen made a motion to open The Town of Lansing Zoning Board of
Appeals Meeting at 4:40 PM. David Dittman seconded.
VOTE AS FOLLOWS:
David Dittman - Aye
Linda Hirvonen-Aye
Henry (Hurf) Sheldon - Aye
Gregg Travis -Aye
MOTION CARRIED.
Recommendation to the Town Board to renew Zoning Board
Member Henry (Hurf) Sheldon term for an additional 5 yrs.
Henry (Hurf) Sheldon indicate to the Board that he is willing to serve on this
Board for an additional term of five years.
Linda Hirvonen made a motion to accept Mr. Sheldon's appointment and
recommend to the Town Board that his term be extended for an additional 5
years. David Dittman seconded.
VOTE AS FOLLOWS:

Linda Hirvonen-Aye
Henry (Hurf) Sheldon - Aye
APPROVED
Gregg Travis -Aye
MOTION CARRIED.
Nomination of Chairman & Vice Chairman -For Recommendation
to the Town Board for Appointment
Linda Hirvonen requested to nominate Gregg Travis for the Chairman of The
Zoning Board of Appeals for the calendar year 2011. David Dittman seconded.
VOTE AS FOLLOWS:
David Dittman - Aye
Linda Hirvonen-Aye
Henry (Hurf) Sheldon - Aye
Gregg Travis -Aye
MOTION CARRIED.
Linda Hirvonen made a motion to nominate David Dittman as Vice Chairman
for the Zoning Board of Appeals for the 2011 calendar year. Gregg Travis
seconded.
VOTE AS FOLLOWS:
David Dittman - Aye
Linda Hirvonen-Aye
Henry (Hurf) Sheldon - Aye
Gregg Travis - Aye
MOTION CARRIED.
Discussion on replacement of Ronald Bricker as Alternate Member
of the Zoning Board of Appeals
Henry (Hurf) Sheldon made a motion to accept Ronald Bricker's resignation as
the Alternate Member of the Lansing Zoning Board of Appeals effective
immediately. Linda Hirvonen seconded.
VOTE AS FOLLOWS:
David Dittman - Aye
Linda Hirvonen-Aye
Henry (Hurf) Sheldon - Aye
Gregg Travis - Aye
MOTION CARRIED.
Replacement Discussion
After a brief discussion, a couple of Members stated they have acquaintances that
may be interested in the position however, they would like to speak with them

prior to providing the Board with their names. If the people are interested, they
will be advised to apply to the Town Board.
Approval/Denial of August 17, 2010 Minutes
David Dittman made a motion to approve as presented. Linda Hirvonen
seconded.
