APRIL 14 , 1971
Present : Olson , Smith , Cole , Weitzel , Kirk
Also present : Zoning Officer - G . Roberts
County Planning Chairman - F . Liguori
Minutes of March meeting approved as read .
Mr . Liguori mentioned the fact that the developers of
Mt . Danby Co . , Inc . might possibly have problems with a
septic system and that it might be wise for them to contact
the Health Dept . at the earliest possible time .
There was considerable discussion about the well being of
the West Danby Water District in entering into a lease with
Mt . Danby Co . , Inc . such as limiting what the land could
be used for , and just what they as lessees were entitled
to do on the property .
A motion was made by Cole that based on the water district
approval , the planning board approve a planned development
area for the primary purpose of a recreational ski area
contingent of submitting of detailed plans for construction .
Seconded by Smith . Vote - 5 ayes 0 noes .
It was decided , based on our determination of what constitutes
a planned development , that the land across the road could
not be zoned P . D . at this time without being done so for a
particular purpose . i . e . - golf course etc . so at this
time , the status of that property remains the same .
The board decided to look at and discuss the town barn
situation at the next meeting .
Gordon Roberts asked the board to check into and consider
at what point a legal sub- division comes into being .
Meeting adjourned at 10 : 20 P . M .
