The Board of Public Works meals an the second, third and fourth Wednesdays of the month at 4:45 p.m. All meetings are voting
meetings, which opens with a public comment period. Meeting agendas are created from poor public input, Department operating
and planning issues, and requests made to the Superintendent. The Board reserves the right to limit verbal comments to three
minutes and to request written comments on lengthy or complex issues. This information may then be used to create committee
agendas, with the speaker or author invited to attend.

A modified version of the minutes is enclosed for your review that includes proposed
changes from Cynthia Brock.

8.36 Parking Rate Review— Discussion
Attached is information on revenues received from parking fees for 2009 and 2010, including
fees from special events, as provided by Deb Parsons. In order to increase revenues,
please consider raising special event parking from $3 to $5 per day, eliminating the free
parking for County jurors, increasing the hours of operation for parking attendants, and
changing parking rates overall.
8.5A Water Plant Improvement Project— Update
Rick Gell will be present at the Board meeting to provide an update on the water plant
improvement project and the membrane pilot studies.
