September 23 , 1970
A Special Meeting of the Danby Town Board was held on September
23 , 1970 at 8 : 00 P . M . in the Town Hall , after notice from
Supervisor Makie .
Present : Supervisor Donald Makie
Councilman Ralph Wilbur
Councilman Gerald Crance
Town Justice Floyd Dorn •
Town Justice A . Francis Wright
Also : County Commissioner of Personnel Hugh Hurlbut
Zoning Officer Gordon Roberts
Rick Dobson
Clifford and Edward Hill
Mr . Hugh Hurlbut present a State Retirement plan to the members
of the Town Board .
Edward and Clifford Hill presented maps of their Mobile Home Park
regarding conditions asked by Town Board as to landscaping , use
of service building . Town Board advised the Hill ' s to show part
of service building to be built but to get approval for the com -
plete building . Interested in more trees between main roads
and trailers . Get Healt Department approval and ask the county to
pencil sketch the trailers on the lots .
Zoning Officer Roberts wanted some time for general discussion .
He is trying to establish what is zoned commercial on land of
Rick Dobson ' s . Regarding Rolling Homes - no provisions to extend
because never went through with plans .
Discussed people who do not get building permits - -one is Charles
Makarainen- -no permit for a trailer that they are living in while
putting the house up which was destroyed by fire - - so no building
permit . Roberts to call an attorney .
What constitutes someone having an office in their home ? Board
said this is spelled out in the zoning ordinan.c:e .
Meeting adjourned at 10 : 00 P . M .
