HomeMy WebLinkAbout1 - Legal Notice 2LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF CORTLANDVILLE AQUIFER PROTECTION PERMIT PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Section 178-46 of the Code of the Town of Cortlandville, a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville, County of Cortland, New York, at the Raymond G. Thorpe Municipal Building located at 3577 Terrace Road, Town of Cortlandville, New York, on June 21, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the parties may be heard, concerning an application for an Aquifer Protection Permit. The application is by Cortland Chrysler Dodge Jeep, Inc. for the purpose of constructing a new 24,460 sq. ft. auto sales and car repair facility with additional paved area. The property, which is owned by 8961 Rt 11 Properties, LLC, is described as 3878 Route 281 and is located across the road from the intersection of Luker Road and NYS Route 281, tax map #86.17-01-08.210. The property is located within the Aquifer Protection District (Area 1: Primary Aquifer Area) of the Town of Cortlandville, is located within Zone 1a of the Town’s Wellhead Protection Zone, and is in a Zoning District denominated B-3 (Planned Commercial Business).
