Delvecchio Wrote a letter asking to reduce the sewer bill for account 1314 because of a leak in the crawl space that did not find its way to the sewer. I have looked up Johns Water meter reads going back four quarters before the high usage and found that they are under 6000 gal of usage a minimum bill. The three quarters that had high usage totaled 129,791 gallons of metered usage. By subtracting 18,000 gal for the 6000 gallons each quarter they normally use I have determined that they had approximately used 111,791 gal of water more than normal because of the leak. I was sent pictures of the leak Pryor to repairs and this water did not in fact go into the sewer but went into the ground. It is my opinion that if the board chooses to do so, based on 111,791 gal of extra water used at $5.60 per 1000 gallons only the sewer bill can be reduced for the total amount of $626.02 for what was used and didn't go through the sewer system. Thank you, Brian R. Congdon Water/Sewer Superintendent
