DANBY PLANNING BOARD MEETING OCTOBER 8 , 1969

PRESENT : Roberts , Dorn , Hatfield , Weitzel , Smith , Short , Myers .
Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved .
Mr . Short reported on his conversation with Fred Thayer relative
to assessments of Junk Car Yards in Danby . He also reported that
the land and building opposite the new fire house is owned by a
Mr . R . L . Barnek no the land assessed at $ 640 . - - the house at
$ 3170 . Mr . Ptsapis represents Mr . Garner .

Mr . Smith reported that he had checked- outthe possibility of a
golf course - - and possible financial assistance from Mr , Assachii ' s
FHA office . Mr . Smith is to check with communities that have
participated in the program .
There was a great deal of discussion about Mobile Homes . Mr . Short
reported that the Hills have decided to wait until spring before
submitting plans for their development . It was suggested that
part of the plan should include plans for financing . Mr . Short
to see :the Hills about the matter . Mr . Short a also to check
with Mr . McComber and Mr . Benjamin about their interest in making
the CENTER of town more presentable . Mr . Dom on is also to be
seen about - mff his headway in disposing of junk cars .
