Bernhardt reported grass working up in gravel at Danby pond and the grass is quite thick in about seven feet of water . Councilman Makie ' will l check with Soil Conservation . Mr . Dobson asked If anything can be done about dog packs . Supervisor reminded him of the dog quarantine at night and the sheriff is the dog warden . Dobson said ' he had called the sheriff about a month ago . Supervisor will contact the Sheriff ( no ordinance required in the town9we do pay the sheriff and his deputies ) . Also will speak to the County Board of Supervisors . REPORTS . _ OF_COMMITTEES Highway o Councilman Wilbur ,='epor ted tinat the Layen Road is complete , the State Engineer; has approved it , Highway Superintendent has not made out paper ' . Michigan , p low Road has all the gravel on includo iris the top , banks have tn/ t5i med . Machinery has been moved to Fisherse ttlement Road . Chaffee needs someone to run the mower and asked if a seventeen year old boy with an operator ' s-license, interested in doing job , can be hired . Supervisor stated the compensation insura ee rules this request out unless over eighteen, Truck is not inocadue in about 10 days . Chaffee has been on , two weekns vacation but rest of crew has not had their a_acat ion . Zoning m Dorn reported no meeting that he knows of the Planning Board' . Fire m Wilbur reported the Fire House is nearly completed on some small details , and the official dedication will. be August 2 and start to move in the Fire House tomorrow . ' Cemeteries e' Donn reported ' Youth m Makie reported that the Community Cotncil is planning a fund raising • project to raise money for yp reereatioxi on August 230 Makie feels that more grit will contra' in The swimming area . C Makie asked if a fee could be charged for the swimming program . Supervisor advised Makie to speak to Mr . Donald Ryan . Insufance m Wright m nothing to report . Refuse Collection & Disposal 4 Makie reported. receiving calls because of rtmo - being closed , and in checking with Mrs . dyers • learned the reason was because of burning creating bad smell and smoke , but now has ,y been reopened .
