WATER DISTRICT MEETING \ .
As scheduled at the May 12th Town Board meeting , a meeting was held on
May 21 , 1969 at 8 : 00 P . M . at the West Danby Fire House between the Board of
Water Commissioners , Town Board and Water Superintendent .
Present : Supervisor James H . Cortright
Councilman Donald Makie
Councilman Ralph Wilbur 10 Justice A . Francis Wright

Supervisor James H . Cortright called the meeting to order .
Discussion of Rates as applies to Resolution # 24 ( 1968 ) - All agreed to leave
as stated in the
schedule of Res . 240
Superintendent needed m Harold Cook wishes to resign . Carlton Hunt asked that
commissioners be given a week to present a recommenda -
tion .
Items needed m Instruction Manual for meters
Lead Locks
Stock 6 meters and 6 curb stops
Printed forms - Justice Wright moved that Supervisor Cortright be authorized
to have the necessary forms printed . Seconded by Makie .
5 ayes , 0 noes , carried .
Duties of WaterrSuperintendent - Board of Commissioners to work up duties of
Water Superintendent . Some of which are :
Read meters ( outside ) See that repairs are made
Check pumphouse weekly Keep a log
Responsible for inspections Record of inventory
Repair leaks
Rescind the amendment to Resolution # 24 as set forth in the April 1969 meeting .
: Makie moved that the Town Clerk compute , bill and mail the water bills and
the Supervisor collect payment . Seconded by Dorn . 5 ayes , 0 noes , carried .
Resignation of John Cortright as he is not a water user is forthcoming in
writing .
Makie moved to appoint Eugene Gray a member of the Board of Water Commissioners
Seconded by Wright . 5 ayes , 0 noes , carried .
Appointments to Water Commissioners to be staggered and at this meeting were
setup as follows : . Huttunen - December 1969 , Hunt - December
D1970 , 1973 . .
