The regular meeting o of the Town Board of the ToWn of Danby was held
at the Danby Town Hall , Monday , March 10f . M .

Supervisor Cortright called the meeting to order . Minutest of the
February meeting were approved as submitted .

Justice Wright moved that Highwa Su,perintenient .Chaffee -be authorized
(to apply for an Erwin Project on DePutron Road . Seconded by Justice Dorn .

Due to Erwin Road Projects being far behind , Highway Superintendent wants
consideration of purchasing a tandem truck - something to haul gravel ,
capacity 10 - 12 yard box . '
. Councilman Wilbur moved that Highway Superintendent Chaffee be advised
to investigate into cost, of a tandem truck with a 10 - 12- yard box , then
to call a special meeting and go over the machinery equipment and Enake . a -
decision whether or not to . advertise for bids .
Seconded by Councilman Makie . 5 ayes , 0 noes , carried . '
ackhoe is being repaired and ready in about a week .

West Danby Water District - Supervisor reported checking lines about completed .
Tank is filled , and no problems .
Proposed Zoning Ordinance - Supervisor reported is at the printers .

Councilman Makie moved to establish an annual salary of $ 25 . A0 for_, the
Town of Danby Constable . Seconded by Justice Wright . 5 - Taye4 , a noes , carrie
This to be taken from Unexpended balalnce .
Makie offered the suggestion to the Board that dotdon . _Robert $ spend some
with Harry Hatfield to become familiar with whatis current in : zoning .
General Fund Bills - Makie moved to pay General Fund Bills #24 through #26 as
listed on Warrant # 3 totalling $103 . 89 . Seconded by
Wilbur . 5 ayes , 0 noes , carried .
Highway Fund Bills - Wright moved to pay Highway Fund Bills #33 through #40
as listed on Warrant #3 tota lling $ 2035 . 75 • ; Seconded
