Department of Agriculture.. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to the conditions of ' employment to be observed. TOWN OF DANBY WEST DANBY WATER DISTRICT By JAMES H . CORTRIGHT July 12 Supervisor, Town of Danby, New York . • w TOWN OF DANBY RESOLUTION NO . 18 - 1968 WHEREAS , the Town of Danby has in due form according to law established the Vest Danby Water District , and WHEREAS , from that date until the present, the Town of Danby has from time to time made resolutions concerning the operation of said water district, and WHEREAS , construction of a waterworks system in said district is about to commence , and WHEREAS , the Town Board of the Town of Danby feels it advisable to establish a Citizen ' s Advisory Board known as the West Danby Water District Citizen ' s Water Commission with the power to recommend policy rates and rules for the operation of said water district , NOW THEREFORE , it is hereby moved : That a board of citizen commissioners for the West Danby Water District be established to consist of not less than three persons or more than five persons , but in no event an even number . To be eligible for said appointment , a person must be a property owner and water user within the confines of the district . Said Board of Commis - sioners shall consider and recommends 1 . The establishment of rates for water used within the system and collection methods consistent with the law . 2 . Rules and regulations for the service hookup to water mains within the system . 3 . Water meter reulations, including installation . 4 . Preparation and recommendation of annual budget for water system operation . S . Recommendation if necessary , for assessment on assessed valuation of property . Page 2 . 6 . Establishment of amount of uniform minimum fee . 11/ 7 . Alteration of geographic limitations of district . The above is an itemized list of those areas specifically to be covered within the Board for recommendation to the Town Board but consideration of other items concerning the operation and exis - tence of the water district for recommended action by the Town Board shall be within the purview of said Citizen ' s Board of Commissioners . A Water Commissioner appointed by the Town Board shall serve at the deference of the Town Board for one year . The above resolution made by Councilman , Donald Makie , seconded by Councilman , Ralph Wilbur , and passed unanimously by the Town Board . July 1 , 1968 Special Meeting i . 1+ /C. l TOWN OF DANBY RESOLUTION NO . 19 - 1968 11/ WHEREAS , The Town of Danby has , pursuant to law , set up a West Danby `eater District , and WHEREAS , in connection with the necessary Petition and public hearing heretofore had the residents and property owners of said proposed district indicated a willingness to draw water from said system , and WHEREAS , the construction of said water system is now about to commence and it is necessary to set up rates , tap in fees and assessment provisions for said district , NOW THEREFORE , it is hereby set forth for all property owners within said district that : 1 . There will be a uniform tap in fee of $ 25 . 00 per tap for each and every property owner within the district regardless of use by said owner . 2 . That there shall be a minimum Uniform fee charged to each property owner regardless of water use or the amount of gallonage used or whether said property owner is using water from said system or not . The amount of the minimum uniform fee shall be established by the Town Board upon recommendation by the Commissioners to be appointed by said Town Board . 3 . That should revenue from water usage and the minimum uniform fee as hereinabove referred to be insufficient to pay the expenses of the water district , that a uniform assessment based on assessed valuation may be -suggested by the Water Commissioners to the Town Board for its consideration and passage . Page 2 s The above resolution made by Town Magistrate , Francis Wright , seconded by Town Magistrate , Floyd Dorn , and unanimously passed by said Town Board . July 1 , 1968 Special Meeting
