. DANBY PLANNING BOARD
April 10 , 1968
The Danby Planning Board met at the home of Marge Epp on
Wednesday , April 10th at 8 : 00 p . m . `
. Those present : Chairman , Joe Short , . Marge Epp , Herbert
Muzzy , George Arsenault , Mildred Weitzel and Wendell Bryce .
Minutes were read and approved .
• Town Board minutes were distributed . .. .
Communications : Letters were read from Frank Liguori ,
Sanitary Engineer , and one from Dr . Broad , Commissioner of
• Health both pertaining to exposed sewage and adjoining properties
to old Town Hall . ' The letters were brought about by request
of the planning board to the town board for action . Conditions
• . , must be changed to meet health standards .
Raymond Brown , Conservationist from the U . S . Department
of Agriculture sent a letter on Small Watershed Projects in
New York State .
George Arsenault brought up the item that a 12 -acre trailer
' park may be constructed on Coddington Rd . The land was purchased
,.;t. by Mr . Walker from Frank Dorn . This will have to be referred to
4 • W l the zoning officer . It was suggested by J . Short that some form
of communication from our zoning officer , Mr . Hatfield , be given
to the board before their meetings for better planning purposes .
Marge Epp mentioned low - income housing or some kind of
-; . ,- development that could be brought to Danby . Discussion followed
and . Mr . . Short will contact Mr . Cerrache about the TV. cable coming

At the planning board ' s request , the town clerk is to write
Ronald Laberge to find out what he can offer Danby as far . as
urban renewal . z
A letter was written to be sent to the fire commissioners
.,-... stating that the planning board opposes the architectural design_ ;
. . of the new fire station . They hope it could be designed to fit
in with .. the other town buildings ' colonial look . .
