TOWN OF CORTLANDVILLE
LEGAL NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of
Cortlandville on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the parties may
be heard, at the Raymond G. Thorpe Municipal Building located at 3577 Terrace Road, Cortland,
New York concerning the enactment of a Local Law of 2023 titled, "A Local Law Amending the
Town of Cortlandville's Chapter 86 Fire Prevention and Building Code Administration". The
purpose of this law is to update the Town of Cortlandville's Fire Prevention and Building Code
Administration and Enforcement to be in compliance with 19 NYCRR Part 1203. The text of the
proposed Local Law is available for examination at the office of the Town Clerk and is also available
online at httns://www.cortlandville.oriz. At said hearing, all persons wishing to continent on the
proposed Local Law shall be given an opportunity to be heard.
