TOWN OF CORTLANDVILLE
AQUIFER PROTECTION PERMIT
PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Section 178-46 of the Code of the Town of
Cortlandville, a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville,
County of Cortland, New York, at the Peter Alteri Jr. Municipal Garage located at 3587 Terrace
Road, Town of Cortlandville, New York, on December 21, 2022 at 5:00 p.m., concerning an
application for an Aquifer Protection Permit.
The application is by CP Read Realty, LLC (Meldrim's Paint Center) for the purpose of
constructing a 6,000 square foot retail store and associated parking on an existing partially
developed site. The property is described as 3975 Route 281, tax map #86.13-01-32.000.
The property is located within the Aquifer Protection District (Area 1: Primary Aquifer Area) of
the Town of Cortlandville, is within the Wellhead Protection Zone (Zone la), and is in a Zoning
District denominated B-2 (Highway Commercial Business).
At the time and place of said hearing all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity
to be heard.
