Special Town Board Meeting
Enfield Town Hall
Thursday, March 28, 2019
6:00 p.m.
Present: Town Supervisor Beth McGee, Town Councilperson Mike Carpenter,
Bookkeeper Debby Kelly, Town Councilperson Mimi Mehaffey, Town Highway
Superintendent Buddy Rollins, Town Councilperson Becky Sims, Deputy Town Clerk Sue
Thompson
Excused: Town Councilperson Virginia Bryant
Supervisor McGee opened the meeting at 6:00 p.m.
Privilege of the Floor: No one asked to speak.
New Business:
Highway Voucher #64:
Supervisor McGee stated that the pickup truck voucher was to replace the highway truck
which was stolen and destroyed. Highway Superintendent Rollins stated that the color of
the truck was green to match the utility box they already have. The old truck had
approximately 50,000 miles on it and the new truck has approximately 116,000 miles.
Supervisor McGee moved, and seconded by Councilperson Carpenter to authorize the
Supervisor to pay Highway Voucher #64 dated March 27, 2019 in the amount of
$9,696.00.
Vote: Councilperson Carpenter aye, Councilperson Mehaffey aye, Councilperson Sims
aye, Supervisor McGee aye. Carried.
Highway Superintendent Rollins asked for authorization to sell the pickup truck which was
destroyed.
Supervisor McGee made a motion and seconded by Councilperson Carpenter to authorize
Highway Superintendent Rollins to sell the pickup truck which was destroyed.
Vote: Councilperson Carpenter aye, Councilperson Mehaffey aye, Councilperson Sims
aye, Supervisor McGee aye. Carried.
Adjournment: Supervisor McGee moved with a second by Councilperson Carpenter to
adjourn the meeting at 6:05 p.m.
