SCOPE OF WORK Applicant will utilize force account labor, materials and equipment to remove the gabion baskets and restore embankment by installing two courses of large, heavy (3'x 3') rip rap along the entire 100' embankment. A 5'x8' squash culvert on Griggs Gulf Road was destroyed and riprap around the upside and downstream sides were washed away. The squash culvert was located in a 10'W x 201 x 5'D space between two concrete abutments that measured 201 x 1'W x 5'D each. The abutments are 1' below the road. SCOPE OF WORK Utilizing force account labor, equipment, stock materials and purchased materials the Applicant will restore the culvert to its' pre -disaster condition and then mitigate. Excavate the site 1 UW x 6'D x 20% in between two 201 x 5'D x 1'W abutments, furnish and install a 72"CMP that is the approximate equivalent of 5'H x 8'W, which is the size of the pipe that was damaged. Rip rap on both sides upstream and downstream 101 each by 6'D x 4'W. Cover with granular surface course.
