TOWN OF ENFIELD
PUBLIC HEARING
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 10TH, 2001
A Public Hearing concerning the Haefele TV Franchise was held Wednesday, January
10th, 2001 at the Enfield Community Building, 182 Enfield Main Road, Ithaca, New York
at 6:30 p.m. Supervisor Owens opened the Public Hearing by reading the Public Hearing
notice published in the Ithaca Journal. The Public Hearing was open to all wishing to
speak.
Bill Mather, Iradell Road, was the only member of the public wishing to speak.
A revised copy of the TV Franchise was presented before the Public Hearing and after it
was reviewed the consensus of the board was that it be turned over to the town attorney
for his review and legal opinion.
After all that wished to speak had spoken the Public Hearing was closed.
Those present were Supervisor Jean Owens, Town Councilman Mark Roach, Town
Councilman Joe Schehr, Town Councilman Greg Stevenson, Town Councilman Richard
Holley. Others present were Highway Superintendent Ron Updike, Town Attorney
Bruce Wilson, Town Clerk Alice Laue.
