Giles Street Traffic and Pedestrian Issues – Continued Discussion Engineering Study: Request all-way stop at Giles and water Streets provided by Tim Logue in response to the Board’s request. See also Maria Coles Transmittal of Giles Street correspondence. 2. Work Program 2008  Streets and Facilities  Engineering  Water and Sewer 3. Engineering Office Staffing Recommendation to change office roster to reflect the way the office is currently working and will need to work in response to the projected 5-year workload. The proposal is “budget neutral”, creates two new positions, deletes one position, two promotions and one hire all within the six people who make up the current office. 4. Use of City Lands – Continued Discussion See Dan Hoffman’s memo dated January 4, 2008 5. Johnson Controls Water Meter Project Enclosed are records of phone interviews that were conducted at the Board’s request in order to sample similar projects undertaken by Johnson Controls. 6. Items of Business for the Board of Public Works The attached survey form would still be helpful in setting Board agendas. We are starting to work down the existing list, while expanding entries at the same time.
