SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS:
Award of Bid for Concrete and Waterproofing Repairs to Seneca Street Parking
Garage – General Contract - Resolution
By Commissioner Leonardo: Seconded by Commissioner Gutenberger
WHEREAS, bids were received for the general contract for Concrete and Waterproofing
Repairs to Seneca Street Parking Garage on April 4, 2000, and
WHEREAS, staff and the design consultant have reviewed the bids and recommend
that the bid be awarded to the low bidder; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Board of Public Works hereby awards the general contract for
Concrete and Waterproofing Repair to Seneca Street Parking Garage to Crane-Hogan
Structural Systems, Inc., 3001 Brockport Road, Spencerport, New York 14559 for their
low bid of $694,653, and be it further
RESOLVED, That the board authorizes the Superintendent of Public Works to enter into
an agreement with Crane-Hogan, under the usual terms and conditions.

Award of Bid for Concrete and Waterproofing Repairs to Seneca Street Parking
Garage – Deck Coating Contract - Resolution
By Commissioner Leonardo: Seconded by Commissioner Beach
WHEREAS, bids were received on April 4, 2000 for the deck coating contract of the
Concrete and Waterproofing Repairs to Seneca Street Parking Garage, and
WHEREAS, staff and the design consultant have reviewed the bids and recommend
that the bid be awarded to the low bidder; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Board of Public Works hereby awards the deck coating contract
for Concrete and Waterproofing Repair to Seneca Street Parking Garage to Raymond
Kelley, Inc, 33 Main Street, Bowmansville, New York 14026 for their low bid of
$173,000, and be it further
RESOLVED, That the board authorizes the Superintendent of Public Works to enter into
an agreement with Raymond Kelley, Inc., under the usual terms and conditions.

Award of Bid for Green Street Parking Garage Parapet Repairs - Resolution
By Commissioner Leonardo: Seconded by Commissioner Jenkins
WHEREAS, bids were received on March 30, 2000 for repairs to the parapet at the
Green Street Garage, and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the bids and recommends that the bid be awarded to the
low bidder; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the Board of Public Works hereby awards the Green Street Parking
Garage Parapet Repairs to McPherson Builders, 710 Willow Avenue, Ithaca, New York
14850 for their low bid of $26,990, and be it further
RESOLVED, That the board authorizes the Superintendent of Public Works to enter into
an agreement with McPherson Builders under the usual terms and conditions.
