COMMON COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS
CITY OF ITHACA, NEW YORK
Special Meeting 5:30 P.M. March 31, 1998
PRESENT:
Acting Mayor Sams
Alderpersons (7) Shenk, Marcham, Blumenthal, Farrell,
Vaughan, Taylor, Gray
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
Acting Mayor Sams led all present in the Pledge of
Allegiance to the American flag.
2.1 Proposed Appointment to TCAT Board - Discussion
Alderperson Shenk introduced Dwight Richardson to Common
Council, and proposed that he be considered as a candidate
for appointment to the TCAT Board.
2.2 Proposed Drug Eviction Ordinance - Discussion
Tompkins County District Attorney George Dentes was present
to answer questions and explain the proposed Drug Eviction
Ordinance.
Extensive discussion followed on the floor regarding the
ordinance.
This ordinance will be considered at the April 1, 1998
Common Council meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion the meeting was adjourned at 6:30 P.M.
