OTHERS PRESENT:

ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA:
Alderperson Blumenthal requested the addition of Item 2.2 –
Request to Permit Wine Tasting and Sale of Bottled Wine at
the Apple Harvest Festival - Resolution.
No Council member objected.
SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS:
2.1 Change in October Meeting Schedule
By Alderperson Mackesey : Seconded by Alderperson Vaughan
RESOLVED, That the October 1997 meeting schedule be
established as follows:
Common Council - October 8, 1997
Community Issues Committee - October 14, 1997
Budget & Administration Committee - October 27, 1997
Planning & Economic Development Committee - October 22, 1997
Carried Unanimously
2.2 Request to Permit Wine Tasting and Sale of Bottled Wine
at Apple Harvest Festival
By Alderperson Blumenthal : Seconded by Alderperson Mackesey
RESOLVED, That King Ferry Winery shall be authorized to sell
wine and to permit tasting of the wines it sells at a booth
during the Apple Harvest Festival held on the Ithaca Commons
from October 3 - 5, 1997, subject to said entity’s
compliance with all applicable State and local laws and
ordinances.
Carried Unanimously
ADJOURNMENT:
On a motion the meeting was adjourned at 7:45 P.M.
