WHEREAS, a number of design issues have been raised which will require
further examination and resolution to the satisfaction of the IURA
and subject to the terms and conditions of the options before final
design approval in the Design Development phase including:
a) handicapped accessibility between the parking garage and the
lower levels of retail space on Dryden Road and fronting the
proposed plaza on Eddy Street;
b) handicapped accessibility between the parking garage and the
Performing Arts Center;
c) vehicular access From

WHEI:EAS, the IURA has received comments from the
Planning and Develop-
ment Board, Design Review Board and Planning and
Development Compittee
concerning the design of the proposed Motel_ and
parking garage project
in Collegetown, and
WHEREAS, a number of design issues have been raised which will require
further examination and resolution to the satisfaction of the IURA
and subject to the terms and conditions of the options before final
design approval in the Design Development phase including:
a) handicapped accessibility between the parking garage and the
lower levels of retail space on Dryden Road and fronting the
proposed plaza on Eddy Street;
b) handicapped accessibility between the parking garage and the
Performing Arts Center;
c) vehicular access From
Dryden Road to the parking
garage,
specifically
the width
of Dryden Road and radius
of the curve
west..of the
hotel /garage
entrance;
d) pedestrian circulation along Dryden Road and potential conflict
with vehicles entering the garage and hotel;
e) the selection of exterior building materials, including type,
color and teKturc;

g) the completion of an environmental review process according to
