Resolution to schedule a Public Hearing to consider a UDAC application
for assistance In renovations to the Rothschild Building

IVIIEREAS, the vacancy on the Center Ithaca Commons known as the Rol(Jiscl)il d
Building has a deleterious effect on. t:he local economy, and
WHEREAS, interested tenants, the Tompkins County Industrial Development
Authority and the local bank officers responsible for the lea.si.ng of
-tl:e premises all. concur that funds are necessary for major ief_ur.bisl)ing
o F the site, and
WHEREAS, a federal UDAG loan submitted by the City of Ithaca mighi:
assist in attracting a qualified tenant and provide -the needed improve -
ments;
