ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: Exve Session By Alderman Saccucci: Seconded by Alderman Boronk_ay RESOLVED, That the Council adjourn into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing a grievance. Carried SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS: Appr__oval1`of Labor Agreement- -Ci.ty olnIcthaca Administrative Unit of the Tom kins Count Cha - --- A., By Alderman Guten erger: Secon�ced by Alderman Saccucci. RESOLVED, That the Agreement between the City of Ithaca and the Ithaca Unit of the Civil Service Employees Association, Inc., Administrative Unit, effective January 1, 1981, be approved as recommended by the City's negotiator, and that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized and directed to sign and execute the Contract on behalf of the City wider its corporate seal. Discussion followed on the floor. The Council adjourned into Executive Session at 5:30 p.m. The Council reconvened in Regular Session at 5:40 p.m. Resolution By Alderman Gutenberger: Seconded by Alderman Banfield RESOLVED, That the Council reconvene in Regular Session, Carried. Alderman Gutenberger reported that the Council had agreed upon the resolution as they had voted upon it. Approval of Labor Agreement--City of Ithaca Executive Association By Alderman Gutenberger: 6econded by Alderman Saccucci RESOLVED, That the Agreement between the City of Ithaca. and the City Executive Association, effective January 1, 1981, be approved as recommended by the City's negotiator, and that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized and directed to sign and execute the Contract on behalf of the City under its corporate seal. Carried (3) Absent - Boothroyd, Slattery, Schuler 1981 and 1982 Compensation for Those Employees Not Covered by Contract By Alderman Gutenberger: Seconded by Al erman Dennis RESOLVED, That all City employees who are not covered by formal Union Contracts be granted a 9% increase for the year 1981, to be effective January 1, 1981, and a 9% increase for the year 1982, to be effective January 1, 1982, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That those employees be provided. the Health Insurance Option coverage, known as the Drug Prescript: ion Rider, as soon as practicable. All remaining benefits will be as covered for each title as designated in the City of Ithaca's Personnel Manual, with the exception of Part III, section G, paragraph 2 in the Executive Association Contract, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Attorney, City Prosecutor, Golf Course Manager and the incoming Superintendent of Public Works be ex- cluded from the above. Carried (3) Absent - Boothroyd, Slattery, Schuler Approval of Labor Agreement- -City of Ithaca D.P.W. Unit of the Tompkins County Chapter, C.S.E.A., Inc. The Council adjourned into Executive Session at 5 :50 p.m. The Council reconvened in Regular Session at 6:12 p.m. _Resolution By Alderman Gutenberger: Seconded by Alderman Saccucci RESOLVED, That.the Council reconvene in Regular Session.
