In the absence of Mayor Bordoni, Acting )Mayor John C. Gutenberger
chaired the meeting.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
Acting Mayor Gutenberger led all present in the Pledge of Allegiance
to the American flag.
SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS:

RESOLVED, That the public hearing to consider Ithaca Center -- Easement
be opened.
Carried Unanimously
No one appeared to speak to the hearing.
Resolution to Close Public Hearing

RESOLVED, That the public hearing to consider Ithaca Center -- Easement
be closed.

Resolution -- Ithaca Center Subterranean Easement
By Alderman Boothroyd: Seconded by Alderman Saccucci
WHEREAS, Ithaca Center Development Company has requested a subterranean
easement to extend north of the "Ithaca Center" property line a distance
of approximately four feet under the Ithaca Commons for the construction
of footings, and
WHEREAS, said easement request is acceptable in concept to the Super-
intendent of Public Works and the City Attorney;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Mayor is authorized and
directed to execute any and all instruments necessary to grant a
subterranean easement approximately four feet from and parallel to
the "Ithaca Center" property line subject to recommendation of the
Superintendent of Public Works and the City Attorney.
Discussion followed on the floor.
A vote on the resolution resulted as follows:

Resolution
By Alterman Nichols: Seconded by Alderman Saccucci
RESOLVED, the Council approves the appointment of Curt R. Dunnam, 1001
West Seneca Street to the City Television Cable Commission for an indefi-
nite term to fill the vacancy created by Robert Hines' resignation.
Carried Unanimously
Mr. Dunnam took the oath of office and was sworn in by the City Clerk.
OLD BUSINESS:
School Reorganization
Al erman Holman called attention to two resolutions laid on the desks.
of the aldermen concerning school reorganization -- November 3, 1976 and
March 2, 1977. She requested the resolutions be referred to.the
Planning and Development Committee so that conversations between the
School District and City can begin upon current reorganizations.
Alderman Nichols reminded the Council that another resolution was
passed on March 5, 1980 and should be included.
