Amendment Building The Cler'h .read from the Minutes of the Planning Zone Commission of February 26th wherein they reco:m:iended various Ordi- amendments to the Building Zone Ordinance. Each amendment nance was discussed, particularly the one proposed to remove hotels from the "B" residence district and place such construction along with apartment houses, hospitals etc. , under Section Sa. By Alderman Rogalsky: seconded by Ald omaih Campbell: RESOLVED: that the Conlon Council approves of adoption of the amendments as recommended. Ayes--Causer, Comfort,Townsend,Rogalsky,Cmapbell, Way s--Gill.Ey er s,Ho f fman, Sammons. The Kayor declared the motion lost on the grounds that it required a majority vote of full membership. Commissioner Dofflenyer called attention to the fact that the present edition of the Zoning Ordinance was exhausted and that certain amendments were desirable before a new edition is printed and reco=ended that such changes be studied. By Alderman Causer:seconded by Alderman Ayers: RESOLVED: that the entire Zoning Ordinance be referred to the Planning Com:ission for study with regard to revision and reprinting. Carried. Audit By Alderman Causertseconded by A1dernan Sammons: RESOLVED: that the bills audited and approved by the Finance Com_littee be and the sane are hereby ap7roved for payment. Carried. Amendments Charter The Clerk read a proposed amendment to Sec.146 of the City Charter designed to clarify the provisions thereof and the same was, on notion, laid upon the desks of the members until the next regular meating. Alderman Ca�ipbell read a proposed amendment to Sec. 24 of the City Charter designed to clarify the pro- visions thereof with particular reference to raking it coAform to the present Public Welfare Law, and the same was on notion laid upon the desks of the mewbers until the next regular meeting.
