Rod alsky who took derman. Petitions were received both for and against the proposed change, but no action was taken since no report had been received from the - Planning Commission. Public Works recomr�ending that the Common Council Expunged expunge the sewer assessment of A49. 20 standing against Augusta H. VIil' inns on property in the vicinity of Brindley and Buffalo Streets, in consideration of IMiss Williams having deeded practically all of this !property to the City for Park Ind Playground purposes ! and having built thereon a public Drinking Fountain. s By Ald erman Hoffman: seconded by Alderman Atkinson: 1 RESOLVTED: that the recomendation of the Board 1, of. Public Works be approved and the sewer assessment of $49. 20 against the Augusta: H. Williams property \ -.•/ ibe and the same is hereby expunged. Adopted . Assessor . Mayor Howe announced the purpose of the Special Meeting was to consider a. request from \ ....../ the Board of Public Works for additional appro– pria.tion in accordance with the resolution passed at the Board' s meeting, Nov. 13th, that is an additional appropriation of not • over x$14,700 to complete the work of filling the Airport by the State Dredge and to clean out the silt,gravel, stone etc. , that accumulatedin Cascadi.11a. Creek due to the heavy rains of last summer ; the re–appropriation of earnings and revenues of the Board over and above the Budget estimate ; and authorisation to transfer ii any surplus; that may accrue in one branch of the service under the jurisdiction and Budget of the Board to cover any deficit that may accrue in some other- branch . li i( Clerk Kerr explained the requisition and also the present financial condition, and estimated that if these additional appropria– tions were made and expended, there would still be a substantial cash balance at the close of the year, due to some revenues exceeding the Budget estimates. RI+,SULvED: that authorization is hereby given to transfer any surplus that may accrue in one branch of the service under the juirisdic-- j tion and Budget of the Board of Public Works to cover any deficit that may accrue in some j other branch under the jurisdiction of the Board of Public Works.
