IURA Economic Development Committee members:
After conferring with Chairperson Doug Dylla, the August meeting of
the EDC is canceled.
We have no time-sensitive matters for action.
Clear your calendar appointment at 3:30 PM, Tuesday August 9th.
FYI, the short-term loan for Plantation Building LLC was approved by
the IURA and has been endorsed by the City of Ithaca City
Administration Committee unanimously. Final action on the loan is
scheduled for the August 4th Common Council meeting.
The IURA also followed the EDC's recommendation and approved
issuance of a letter of interest for the Unity Inn LLC project for up to
$100,000 at 4% interest.
Avi's loan application was verbally approved by M&T, subject to a co-
signer. He plans to apply to other local banks to see if they will
approve a loan without a co-signer requirement.
Our next scheduled EDC meeting is 3:30 PM, Tuesday, September
14th.
