Comprehensive Implementation Committee
Present Weber,Barylski,Hicks,and Cobb
All members received copies of the previous meetings minutes
Member Weber presented copies of the B1 Industrial District.
Bruce Weber had talked with Nazrin Parvisi to get her view of what the Original
Comprehensive Committee had in mind for the Wellhead Protection Areas
Implementation Committee wants to define the wellheads as being a CEA (Critical
Environmental Area)
Member Cobb will recheck minutes there are some revisions and additions needed.
There was discussion on allowing food trucks. Member Weber stated that they are
considered to be a Drive In Restaurant because there is no Inside dining.
There was a discussion on the portion of the Hotel that was demolished along RT 11
between Cortland & Homer that is in the Town of Cortlandville. Member Hicks would like to see
a Farmer's Market in that area. We need to define a Farmer's Market could be conditional use
with set hours, possible music allowed , Food trucks,etc.Another area that could be utilized
would be the Fairgrounds. Member Hicks will bring back some ideas to help define a Farmer's
Market.
5-1.f Industrial Districts Recommendation #1.6 we referred to Cortlandville Zoning
Code section 178-76 & 178-77 which defines this area.
Some discussion on any possible locations for a slaughter house to build, Member Hicks
states that there are few of them nearby and our local producers have a hard time getting their
products to market. Committee does not have a suggestion for this.
There was a suggestion to change the area along Rt 281 from the current HEP store to
Shipwreck Golf to an 1-1 district.
5-1.h Stormwater Management presently the town uses the available data base when
considering new development or any changes involving stormwater
Committee decided that we should have a copy of Article XVI for Stream Corridor
Overlay which is next 5-1.1
