TOWN OF CORTLANDVILLE
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING RELATING TO TAX EXEMPTION
FOR PERSONS OVER THE AGE OF 65 YEARS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that pursuant to Section 467(d) of the Real Property Tax Law
of the State of New York, a Public Hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of
Cortlandville, Cortland County, New York, on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at
the Peter Alteri Jr. Municipal Garage located at 3587 Terrace Road, Cortland, New York,
concerning the modification of the Real Property Exemption from Taxation for Persons over the
age of 65 years in the Town of Cortlandville, to provide for a maximum income level of
$30,699.99.
Copies of the proposed Resolution are available for inspection at the office of the Town Clerk,
3577 Terrace Road, Cortland, New York during regular business hours, and is available on the
Town’s website, cortlandville.org.
At the time and place of said hearing, all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity
to be heard. The Town Board may vote on this matter during the Regular Town Board Meeting.
