A zoning permit application for a proposed 6" high fence at the above referenced property has been
denied. The fence(s) would be located at approximately 0'from the front property line on the
Hampton Road side and 3'from the front property line on the Highland Road side (see map on
back). This is less than the 25'front yard setback required by the Village of Cayuga Heights Zoning
Ordinance Section 14.4.C: Fences and Walls. Therefore, the applicant is seeking an area variance
to allow the fence to be erected as proposed
It should be noted that the Village regulates "corner lots" as having two front yards. Therefore, this
variance applies to the proposed fences on both frontages of this property.
A Public Hearing has been scheduled on April 3,2018 @ 7:00 pm at the Fire Station, 194 Pleasant
Grove Road to hear comments on the variance request. The following properties are located within
