Smith, Architect 522 Bay Lane Centerville, MA 02632 508-367-8920 Regarding the Project at 1099 NY-222 CORTLAND, NY 13045 This letter is to provide additional information regarding the permitting of the project at 1099 NY-222 CORTLAND, NY 13045. We are submitting the plans for permitting in the attached package on behalf of our client, TASTY HUT LLC, to be reviewed by your office for conformity with all code requirements. The project narrative for this location is as follows: This location is to be a new Pizza Hut Pickup location, within a renovated existing building. The renovations shall involve the removal and replacement of existing elements of the building for replacement, including interior fixtures and partitions, windows, and replacement of the building roofing materials. Additionally, it will involve creation of a new opening for the pickup door location, as shown on the Left Elevation. The proposed plan will involve installation of the relevant location equipment and fixtures, as well as the replacement or repair as needed of existing building finishes. The final plan will include product storage, a food preparation area, a serving and sales area, and the pickup door. The pickup door will function so that customers can order and pay for their food in advance, and pick it up easily and promptly from the location via the pickup door. Customers will have already paid for their food upon pickup, and no drive-thru payment services will be installed at this location. The pickup location will operate in tandem with the interior sales area, where customers can order, wait for, or pick up their food. Thank you, Office of James D. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY BLOCKING IN WALLS FOR SUPPORT OF ALL EQUIPMENT, SHELVING, ACCESSORIES SEE FLOOR PLAN FOR LOCATION OF BLOCKING. 11. ALL PENETRATIONS SHALL RECEIVE CAULKING TO SEAL ANY TYPE OF ENERGY LOSS. 12. THE DRAWINGS ARE NOT TO BE SCALED. FOR INFORMATION CONCERNING EXISTING PARTITIONS, ETC., VERIFICATION MUST BE DONE IN THE FIELD. 13. UPON COMPLETION OF PROJECT, GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO OBTAIN ALL FINAL INSPECTIONS AS REQUIRED BY LOCAL JURISDICTIONS AND FURNISH OWNER WITH EVIDENCE OF ALL SUCH INSPECTIONS AND CERTIFICATES OF OCCUPANCY. 14. ALL MEANS OF EGRESS AND FIRE PROTECTION SHALL BE MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES AND ANY SHUT DOWN OF LIFE SAFETY OR BUILDING SYSTEMS SHALL BE APPROVED AND COORDINATED IN ADVANCE WITH THE OWNER AND LOCAL BUILDING DEPARTMENT. 15.
