Hello,
As you're planning your week, consider these options in honor of Earth Day(Wed.,April 22),and Arbor Day(Friday,April 24):
Arbor Day Tree Planting:
The Ulysses Tree Advisory Council will hold a meeting at 5:30pm on Friday,April 24 at the Jacksonville Community Park, 3037
Swamp College Rd.,Trumansburg.
The meeting will be followed by a reading of the Town Board Proclamation and a tree planting.
Guided Plant&Bird Walk:
The Habitat Nature Preserve Advisory Committee will host a plant&bird walk on Saturday,April 25 at 10:30am.
Rain or shine!
Meet at the Habitat Nature Preserve trail head at 23 Salo Dr.,Trumansburg NY 14886.
The walk is about 0.8 miles and will take about 1 hour.
Since parking is limited, please park at the Trumansburg Farmers Market and walk to the trail head.
