Dear Mr. Cross,
This letter is to provide notice of a potential change to the original submission. The
proposed tenants for the building, Cayuga Medical Associates (CMA), are
reassessing their plans for the distribution of specialized medical practices in the
Ithaca area. The original planning effort is several years old, the regulatory process
has taken longer than anticipated, and construction of the Corners Community
Medical Office Building (CCMOB) could take up to one year after approval and
design completion. As a result, there is a possibility that CMA would want to
replace the medical practices originally proposed, Cardiology and Internal
Medicine, with a different type of medical practice at the Corners Community
location. If such a change occurs, the number of staff and patients will not exceed
the current estimates specified for site plan review. If you have any questions,
