Minutes of Regular Meeting February 22, 2016

The Meeting was opened at 7:00 PM

Additions to Agenda
Add discussion of privacy via email.
Minutes
The January minutes were approved with additions and corrections as noted. Jenny moved, Mary
seconded. All present approved.
Discussion
Subdivision Regulation:
CAC Oversight
Background: Town Board created 8 acre lot allowance without permit. Another option allows
landowners to create a smaller acreage lot every 3 years. All subdivisions have been done this way since this
option was created. Recommendation has been made to do away with this. CJ Randall suggests leaving as is
and having Planning Bard provide oversight. CAC would advise on environmental qualities of subdivision
proposals. CAC would review documents – site plan, overview of area.
Landowners Easement Questions
Can area in easement be classified as Ag be Organic? Jenny said certified organic is already an a legally
defined term and can be enforced by third party certifier.
Privacy via Email
Pamela Goddard says we can’t do meetings via email or make decision out of meetings. Asking Town
Attorney for clarification.

Dan moved we go into executive session to discussion specific easements. Matt seconded. All present voted
in favor.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 PM.
