Minutes of Regular Meeting June 23, 2014

The Meeting was opened at 7:05 pm
Minutes:
Joel had concern about the minutes. The May Minutes say “April Minutes moved as amended”, but what
was amended was not stipulated. Joel had sent out changes in a draft: The changes included stating, “All
present voted in favor’, regarding the motion to have the Town Clerk post the minutes, that Matt is preparing
a submission for the Danby Area News about Big Trees, and that the minutes were submitted by Dan Klein.
Rhonda Roaring asked to change language in minutes to, “Ronda Roaring presented her vision for Deputron
Hollow, which would include land acquired through donation, purchase and conservation easement with a
small parking area, kiosk, educational brochure and trails.”
Both additions/changes were approved by voice vote.
A Motion to approve the May Minutes was made by Jake, seconded by Matt. Approved unanimously.
(The changes to the April and May minutes will made.)
Executive Session
Jake moved the CAC go into executive session to discuss easements. Approved by all.
Executive session ended. 9:10.
Motion
A Motion to forward the Palmer/DeMark Easement to the Town Board as drafted with the additions and
changes as discussed in Executive Session was made. Dan – No. Jake, Matt, Joel, Mary – Yes. Approved.
(Matt will make changes and complete the Easement and send to Joel for submission to the Town Board.)
Fun Day
No CAC participation this year.

Email
Joel asked about emails. Email accounts are being created for town board members. The CAC decided an
email account will be created for Chair. Other members declined.
Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 9:15PM.
The next meeting is on July 28, 2014 at 7:00PM.
