TO: ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

RE: 303 E. Upland Road
REPORT: A zoning permit application to allow an existing 7’ high fence to remain
has been denied. The fence is located at approximately 0’ (parallel) to the
front property line, which is less than the 25’ side yard setback required by
Zoning Ordinance Section 6. Yard Requirements.
The applicant has requested a variance to allow the existing fence to
remain in place. Therefore, a Public Hearing has been scheduled on June
20, 2012 @ 7:00 pm at the Village Hall, 836 Hanshaw Road to hear public
comment on this case.
It should be noted that the existing fence is more than 90% open for the
portion of the fence higher than 4’.
