I am pleased to advise you that the Cayuga Heights Village Court has been awarded a grant under
2010 cycle of the Justice CourtAssistance Program (JCAP).
As you may know, JCAP was established by the New York State Legislature in 1999, at the request of
the Unified Court System, to help provide our $tate's town and village courts with the resaurces and
equipment necessary to fulfill their critical role in our justice system. Under the Court $ystem's Action
Plan for the Justice Court, JCAP has been significantly expanded, both in the level of funding and the
scope of the projecta funded. We are very pleasad that the Cayuga Heights Village Court is among these
courts receiving funds this year. The details of your award are set forth on the enclceed list,
