Thank you for the time and efforts you and your staff gave to the Office of Community Renewal's (OCR) Community
Developer, Savitry Kola, who conducted a monitoring visit of the Town of Cortlandville's 2019 project identified
above on May 11, 2022.
The monitoring visit was conducted to determine whether program operations are compliant with the requirements
of the CDBG regulations as contained in 24 CFR Part 85, as well as the provisions of the contract(s) executed with
the Housing Trust Fund Corporation dated June 27, 2019.
The review of your program administration and project files indicates compliance with the statutory and regulatory
requirements of the program. In addition, the Monitoring Visit did not identify any areas where improvements could
be made. I would like to take this opportunity to commend you for your excellent work in administering the NYS
CDBG grant.
The expenditure of funds has been completed and all required accomplishments have been reported, the Town of
Cortlandville is now cleared to close out this grant. Upon submission and approval of all materials needed to satisfy
federal Single Audit requirements, the OCR will issue a Grant Closeout Transmittal Form and instructions
electronically to the Town, which must be signed and the original returned to the OCR within 30 days of receipt.
Please be aware that this report does not relieve your Community of its obligation to continue to administer the grant
in accordance with grant agreement requirements; Federal and State rules and regulations; and sound management
practices. We look forward to working with you on the successful completion of your project.
