Chair Ann DiPetta called the meeting to order at 5:31 pm at the Town Hall.
Approval of Agenda
Motion: Weatherby motioned to approve the agenda; Klankowski seconded.
Vote: Chair DiPetta, aye; Klankowski, aye; Klein, aye; Marino, aye; Weatherby, aye; Weaver, aye; Cohen, aye;
and Olson, aye.
Motion Carried.
Approval of Past Minutes
Motion: Klein motioned to approve the amended November 6 meeting minutes; Klankowski seconded.
Vote: Klankowski, aye; Klein, aye; Marino, aye; Olson, aye; Basilius, aye; Chair DiPetta, aye; and Cohen,
abstain.
Motion Carried.
Privilege of the Floor
Krys Cail spoke about changes in hydrology throughout the Town, mentioning she would propose to the
Town Board to invest in a hydrology study.
Motion: Klein motioned to close privilege of the floor; Cohen seconded.

and Olson, aye.

Old Business Items
Results of Focus Group #2: Environment & Natural Resources and Climate Change & Resiliency
Angelina White reviewed the results from the focus group. Weatherby spoke about opportunities with school
groups. Marino mentioned the opportunity for the Town to develop an open space plan at some point.
Threats included runoff, nutrient pollution, and deregulation.
New Business Items
Priorities Discussion (SWOT) for Environment & Natural Resources and Climate Change & Resiliency
The committee engaged in an exercise identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in each
category. Committee members identified areas of environmental importance on a map of Ulysses.
Identified threats included HABs, industrial development, overdevelopment, and invasive plants and wildlife.
Cohen identified the lack of effective waste diversion as a weakness, but noted it is a potential area for
