SUBJECT: UPCOMING CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING – August 7, 2014
This is to confirm that the next meeting of the Conservation Board (CB) is Thursday,
August 7th at 5:30 p.m. The agenda for this meeting is enclosed (see the back of this
memo). The draft minutes from the June 5, 2014 meeting are attached.
At this meeting we will have a brief discussion of the invasive species event that was
held at the East Ithaca Nature Preserve. For those that attended, please think about
positives, negatives, things to do differently next time, and is this type of event
something to plan again?
At this meeting we will also continue to discuss the report and cover letter on deer
management efforts in the area (material Mike R is working on) and on the pest
management policy research from other communities.
I believe that Carrie has signed up to take minutes at the August meeting.
