SUBJECT: UPCOMING CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING – March 5, 2015
This is to confirm that the next meeting of the Conservation Board (CB) is Thursday,
March 5th at 5:30 p.m. The agenda for this meeting is enclosed (see the back of this
memo). The draft minutes from the February 5, 2015 meeting are attached. I have also
included a copy of the 2015 Work Goals that was updated at the last meeting, just to
make sure everyone has the final version.
At this meeting we will continue to discuss the pest management policy research from
other communities and see if there are any updates regarding deer management in the
Town and County.
We will also need to spend some time under the regular reports and updates to review
the two nominations for the 2014 Fischer Award and decide on one. We did not receive
any additional nominations.
While it is not listed as a separate agenda item, there have been several emails in the
past couple weeks regarding the water conservation issue and Town water rates. We
may want to add this to the beginning of the agenda, especially if the Ithaca College
student is able to attend the meeting.
Carrie has volunteered to take minutes at the March meeting.
