SUBJECT: UPCOMING CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING – DECEMBER 1, 2016
This is to confirm that the next meeting of the Conservation Board (CB) is Thursday,
December 1st at 5:30 p.m. The agenda for this meeting is enclosed (see the back of
this memo). The draft minutes from the October 6, 2016 and the November 3, 2016
meetings were not available to include in the packet.
At this meeting we will continue the discussion regarding the maintenance of the
bluebird houses at Town facilities. We will also continue the discussion on deer
management and have an update from the ad hoc deer management committee.
I will also provide an update on the Town’s Tree Inventory Grant project. The Town has
just received the draft ecological assessments for all the parks and preserves, and I
have included a couple examples in the packet. Once the final reports are provided, the
consultant that is working on this project will be attending a future CB meeting to
discuss the overall results of the project.
Mike Roberts has signed up to take minutes at the December meeting.
