SUBJECT: UPCOMING CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING – DECEMBER 7, 2017
This is to confirm that the next meeting of the Conservation Board (CB) is Thursday,
December 7th at 5:30 p.m. The agenda for this meeting is enclosed (see the back of
this memo). The draft minutes from the June 1st meeting were not available to include
in the packet. The draft minutes from the November 2nd meeting are attached.
At this meeting we will have Ingrid Zabel (Curator, NY Climate Change Science
Clearinghouse and Climate Change Education Manager at the Paleontological
Research Institution) join us to discuss climate change resources for New York State,
including the NY Climate Change Science Clearinghouse
(https://www.nyclimatescience.org/).
Under Other Business, I have included the usual end of the year activities. The CB will
need to discuss nominations for the 2018 Chair and Vice-Chair positions along with
approval of the 2018 meeting schedule.
Mike has signed up to take minutes at the December meeting.
