HomeMy WebLinkAboutCB Agenda 2019-02-07 TO: CONSERVATION BOARD MEMBERS FROM: MICHAEL SMITH, SENIOR PLANNER DATE: JANUARY 31, 2019 SUBJECT: UPCOMING CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING – FEBRUARY 7, 2019 This is to confirm that the next meeting of the Conservation Board (CB) is Thursday, February 7th at 5:30 p.m. The agenda for this meeting is enclosed (see the back of this memo). The draft minutes from the December 6th are attached. The draft minutes from the November 1st meeting was not available to include in the packet. At this meeting we will finalize the support letter to Tompkins County regarding the proposed ban on plastic bags. Included in the packet is a copy of the December 16th email from James with the draft letter. At this meeting we will also have a brief presentation from Hannah about composting in general, and then an overview from Hannah and Lindsay on what they are hoping to do in 2019 related to composting. Since the January meeting was canceled, we will also take some time to discuss the CB’s activities and accomplishments from 2018, the 2019 works goals, and committee assignments for 2019. Please review these documents for additions or modifications. We will need a volunteer to take minutes at the February meeting.
